		<description><![CDATA[<p align="justify">Ben Franklin's own Autobiography was a staple in schools many years ago used to help teach quality character traits while learning about this great American.&#160; This club will meet monthly to conduct experiments, discuss book reviews, and participate in several other activities such as building an Armonica (Ben's favorite invention); work with electrical current; and design, build and fly kites in a hope-to-have annual Kite Flying contest.</p>

<p>Benjamin Franklin is the first founding father to reach 300 years of age.&#160; On January 17th, ole' Ben&#160;turned 300.&#160;</p>

<p>Ben Franklin wrote many words of wisdom. Read some of his thoughts from "Poor Richard's Almanack" and decide what you think they mean</p>
<p>Read on of the great biographies of Benjamin Franklin such as "Ben and Me" by Robert Lawson.</p>
